The ghd straightener brought straight hair home, before the GHD straight hair could only be acheived at the salon. With GHD you could now have the same results at home whenever you want. The GHD straightener has progressed from the original design and is now much improved. The latest GHD is called the GHD MK4 or GHD IV.

Six GHD straighteners are available. The narrow plate GHD Mini, the standard width GHD MK4 , the wide plate GHD salon styler and three limited editions. The pink GHD, the white GHD Pure and the gloss black GHD Dark.

Why straight hair? Why is straight hair so desirable? Well straight hair always looks more finished, it also catches the light more and tends to have more shine and gloss. Is straight hair sexy? Well the FHM 2007 Sexiest Woman award went to Jessica Alba who has straight hair. In 2006 the FHM winner was Kiera Knightley, 2005 was Kelly Brook, in 2004 it was Britney Spears, for 2003 the award went to Halle Berry, Anna Kournikova won in 2002. I think there is a bit of a pattern here. OK so Kelly Brook has waves just as much as she has straight hair but for all of the different styles and fashions straight hair is always a winner.
